A Fun Family Shoot!

We recently had the pleasure of photographing our Valentine’s competition winner, Chris, and his fabulous family, Claire, Liam, Amelia and, of course, star model, Max the dog.

The family’s choice of location was Jesmond Dene, a haven of tranquility and never-ending beauty.  Once again, the gods were looking down on us and sent a ray of sunshine, even though according to the forecast all odds were against us!

After a moody start…

…it didn’t take long for Amelia’s frown to turn upside down and show her adorable dimples, with a little help from big brother Liam.

And with so many amazing trees to take advantage of, who could resist a game of peek-a-boo?

We were certain that Max had done this before, with his confident posing and enthusiasm for the camera.

And taking a casual stroll through the dene, the family looked like they didn’t have a care in the world amongst such beautiful surroundings.

Then Chris and Claire shared a romantic moment on the bridge, ahhhhh! ❤️💕💗

Exploring further than Chris and Claire had ventured through Jesmond Dene before and with ruined buildings, the old flour mill and the most picturesque bridges we certainly made it a shoot to remember!

And with the sunshine and amazing nature putting a spring in all our steps we couldn’t resist ending a wonderful day by heading to the iconic Armstrong Bridge for some extra shots.

A fantastic day was had by all and we’re sure Max wanted to book in his next shoot! 🙂

Laura & Lee’s truly amazing day!

So the story all began with Lee’s romantic proposal in Reykjavik, under the Northern Lights; and on Laura’s birthday.

A full weekend of celebrations at Ellingham Hall, one of Northumberland’s hidden gems.

With the Prosecco flowing, the preparations were well underway; the air full of excitement, tears and laughter!

Out with the hankies for a proud and emotional moment between mother and daughter!

The getting ready party,  in the amazing bridal suite, was in full swing; and the sharing of gifts.

The most photographed dress!

In the meantime the groom and best man are making their own fun.

Just a few final touches and here we have a stunning bride.

Led down the aisle by a very proud dad, Tom.

And let the ceremony begin!

We love an adventurous couple. There was no stopping Lee & Laura when they were let loose in the adventure playground. We even had to stop Laura going down the slide!

And out with the hankies again for the first dance! 💕

With the DJ banging out some favourite tunes the evening celebrations get going; and keep going into the small hours…….

The kids rocking the dance floor!

💗  An amazing day ended with some night shots of a beautiful couple so in love 💗

And they all lived happily ever after,

A Wedding Fit for a Princess!

Angela and Mark tied the knot at one of the northeast’s most stunning wedding venues, nestled within 300 acres of beautiful Northumbrian countryside.  Matfen Hall features the most amazing staircase that wraps around the majestic Grand Hall where Ang made her royal entrance, led by her proud son Rubens.

And the grandeur of the staircase was perfectly matched by Ang’s elegant dress by designer Nicole Spose which, combined with Ang’s beautiful, classic look made the most stunning of brides.

Truffles the extra special guest didn’t go without attention either as he proudly wore his dickie bow tie for the occasion.

Relaxed and happy as Mr & Mrs, Mark and Ang casually strolled through the beautiful grounds like they were their own.

It was an honour and absolute pleasure to be able to capture the emotion and atmosphere of Mark and Ang’s special day.

A burst of colour for Jess & Michael’s autumn wedding day!

The autumn yellows and oranges in the surrounding trees perfectly echoed the unique colour of the impressive Georgian building of Aykley Heads registry office in Durham.  And the contrast of their striking violet colour scheme brought the whole effect to life, certainly making it a day to remember.

Jess was delighted with her surprise gift from her lovely mum in the form of ‘Vernon’ the quirky white campervan, decorated for the occasion with violet ribbons adding the effect.

The day was filled with lots of happy and emotional moments expressed from family and friends and the kids had plenty of fun too

We would like to take this opportunity to firstly thank Jess and Michael for choosing us to be part of their beautiful wedding day and secondly wish them many happy years together as Mr & Mrs ♥
